Community Benefit Project Online Workshop

Charlotte Water will launch an online workshop on Wednesday, Jan. 27^th to educate the public about the Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility and community benefit project currently being planned. The workshop will collect input from the public about how the project can further benefit the community. The information gathered from the workshop will help Charlotte Water understand the needs and concerns of the community, brainstorm possible solutions and gain insight into ideas for the Community Benefit Project.

Through the workshop, Charlotte Water will engage community members at a time convenient for them in the visioning and selection process of the Stowe Community Benefit Project. 

Participants will be able to share ideas through virtual post-it notes, uploaded photos on a map, and responses to surveys and polls about their opinions on what they feel is needed in the area. 

Charlotte Water is committed to providing funds towards a Community Benefit Project that shares the environmental protection goals of the facility by utilizing the natural resources in the area to build a vibrant public space or meaningful community feature that encourages connectedness, cohesion and well-being in the area. We hope you will share your thoughts with us!
