In November 2022, we completed clearing the site of the future Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility, which is located on a secluded peninsula between the Catawba River and Long Creek.
Earthwork is now underway on the site. Controlled blasting work is planned to begin in January to break up bedrock to expedite construction of the facility foundations. This work is not anticipated to be noticeable to neighbors in the area.
