We’re excited to announce work has begun on the South Access Road Bridge over Long Creek! This new bridge will provide a permanent connection to the new Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility, which is located on a secluded peninsula, from the Long Creek Pump Station on Hawfield Road.
The bridge will include a multi-use path for pedestrians and cyclists to improve public access to the Catawba River. This big undertaking is part of the Community Benefit Project for our new wastewater treatment plant, Stowe Facility.
